More than 180,000 veterans call the DFW area home, joined each year by thousands more separating from active duty at nearby bases.
Dallas's booming economy offers real pathways to veteran success — but financial hardship, healthcare gaps, and family instability still cut short too many of those paths. WWFS has been on the ground in Dallas for over two decades providing the direct bridge support that makes those transitions succeed.
The DFW veteran community is one of the most active and engaged in the country. WWFS is privileged to serve alongside them.
In Dallas, veteran families in crisis often face a maze of agencies and eligibility requirements that delay the help they need. WWFS cuts through that complexity — delivering emergency mortgage assistance, utility relief, and stabilization support within days, not weeks.
We work with Dallas-area VSOs, military family support programs, and faith-based veteran networks to reach families in need. When a Dallas veteran family faces eviction or a medical crisis, WWFS shows up with the resources to prevent a temporary setback from becoming a permanent disaster.
From Plano to Mansfield, from Fort Worth to Mesquite, WWFS reaches across the entire DFW metro to serve veterans and their families.
