We just got back from our staycation yesterday! The boys can’t stop talking about our stay at the Jellystone campgrounds at Birchwood Acres; so much that we vowed to return, given our stable financial situation in the (hopefully near) future.
Diego has found a new hobby to bond with the boys but also as an activity to enjoy on his own; fishing! Our lakeside cabin was away from other campers, so he did not feel the pressure to be sociable when he couldn’t. We had quite a few visits to the pool, gem mining, boating, playgrounds and dog park for our Glory girl. We had a golf cart to get around without Diego having to worry about his usual pains and disabling symptoms from MS.
Our family absolutely needed this mini getaway. We are forever grateful for WWFS and the generous donors who made it possible for us to enjoy and appreciate life with our loved ones. We have new memories we will forever cherish. We cannot thank you all enough!
